Deposit terms

Short version: this is an optional, fully refundable reservation deposit. It is not an order for a Message Box and does not promise a product, price, discount, delivery date or stock. If an eligible product is later offered, you can choose whether to buy it and the deposit will be credited in full. You can instead request a full refund at any time.

What the deposit does

The deposit places you on the early-adopter reservation list for a possible future kit or finished Message Box. It does not itself buy a product, reserve a specific unit, or require you to make a later purchase. Product specifications, total price, taxes, shipping cost, delivery countries and delivery timing will be provided before any separate product order.

Amount and payment

The deposit amount shown immediately before checkout is the total amount charged: €15 EUR for visitors outside the United States or $19 USD for visitors in the United States. There are no shipping charges or recurring payments. Payment is processed by Stripe. The payment methods shown in Stripe Checkout are the accepted methods.

Refund and withdrawal

You may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund at any time by emailing danpeg@gmail.com from the address used at checkout. This contractual refund right is broader than the statutory 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. Refunds are returned to the original payment method without a cancellation fee. If no eligible product offer has been made by 31 July 2027, the deposit will be refunded automatically.

Later product offer

A future product offer is a separate decision and contract. Before you place any product order, you will receive its essential characteristics, full price including taxes, shipping charges, delivery restrictions and estimated delivery time. If you accept that offer, the full deposit amount will be deducted from the amount you owe. If you do not accept it, you may take the refund instead.

Complaints and consumer disputes

You may submit a complaint through Portugal’s Electronic Complaints Book. Information about the competent Portuguese consumer alternative dispute-resolution entity is available from the Directorate-General for Consumers. These options do not limit your right to use the courts.

Privacy and governing law

Payment and contact information is handled as described in the privacy notice. Portuguese law applies, without removing any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence.
